Replacing - Installing a W.C Installing a new WC in a new bathroom takes a good deal of plumbing expertise compared to replacing a damaged or an old fashioned toilet with a new toilet - W.C. The new pan should fit into the existing soil pipe and most often the cistern can be connected to the existing cold water supply. If our plumbers are replacing a high-level cistern with a compact modern W.C , the London Plumbers will need to make a new inlet connection to the supply cold water pipe and run a new overflow pipe if the new toilet does not have an internal overflow system. After we have disconnected the old cistern, the plumber will have to seal off the open inlet on the supply pipe. Very likely that the plumber will use a special capillary fitting or a compression valve on the 15 mm supply pipe. The difficult part of the job for our plumber is the amount of existing soil pipe that might have to be cut off - or modified to allow the close -coupled unit to butt against the wall. To make the installation - replacing of a new toilet - W.C easier - and cheaper, best toilets are those with an internal overflow system as our plumber does not have to install an overflow pipe through an external wall. |
