A new coat of paint can transform a room, house or an office. A sound paint film, even if it is several layers thick - can be a perfectly suitable base for repainting. A good rub down by our Painters and Decorators London - using medium coarse glass paper - sandpaper and the surface is keyed ready for the first coat of paint. A heavy build-up of paint on the closing edges of windows and doors can result in sticking and adding another coat of paint on top of the old layers will only accentuate the problem.
