Balcony tiles on flat roofs
Our builders can build a new structure on top of the old roofing if the structure is not suitable. In most cases, when we build an extension, the customer will be asked if the roof structure should be designed for a sun deck. Special tiles are needed to provide the integrity of the roof tiles such as non slip glass reinforced tiles designed for roof paving to bed in hot bitumen. As long the flat roof structure is solid, it will even support slabs, however, in most domestic situations, verandas and balconies are constructed using smaller and lighter tiles.
